I possess an active and outgoing personality, allowing me to quickly connect with new people. I also have extensive experience maintaining strong relationships over time. Responsibility is another significant strength of mine. Once I commit to a task, I pursue it unwaveringly from start to finish, approaching every assignment with conviction and a determination to see it through to completion. For instance, I started exercising to improve my physical strength and endurance, and I have consistently practiced it every single day without fail. Whenever I encounter difficult moments during my workouts, I push myself with the mindset of ‘just one more time,’ gradually increasing my exercise volume. Through this process, I am steadily building myself into a stronger person. This experience has taught me firsthand that “effort never betrays you,” and it has also given me the strong mental fortitude to never give up easily on anything.
However, I do have a weakness. When facing important decisions, I tend to become overly cautious, overthinking and overanalyzing until the moment of decision, which makes me overly sensitive. This sometimes makes it difficult for me to focus on other tasks. To overcome this weakness, I actively simulate various scenarios in advance, striving to cultivate quick and accurate judgment. Another habit is always carrying a pen and notepad in my pocket, jotting down new information, questions, or ideas as they come to me. I review these notes at the end of each day, organizing them and revisiting them repeatedly to truly internalize the information. This habit has made my thinking more flexible and significantly improved my judgment.

Internal and External Activities – The Value of ‘Improvement’

I cherish the word ‘improvement’. It signifies not mere change, but substantial and systematic advancement. I believe this is a core principle not only for personal growth but also for the continuous development of organizations and companies. Especially, improvement activities on the ground reduce unnecessary waste and maximize efficiency, laying the foundation for leaping beyond industry leadership to become the world’s best.
At my current workplace, I have experience generating noticeable results through various improvement activities. I would like to introduce two representative examples.
The first case involves improving the logistics system at a parts dealership. At the time, internet networks were not yet sufficiently widespread. Parts were displayed in easily visible locations and manually retrieved and sold whenever needed. This inefficient workflow repeated annually, wasting significant time and leaving unsold parts as dead stock that occupied warehouse space. To address this, I reorganized the system: categorizing all parts by type and assigning specific locations. I then introduced PDAs (handheld terminals) to manage inventory in/out based on this new layout. As a result, the time spent searching for parts was significantly reduced, and warehouse space could be utilized more efficiently.
The second case involved improving the way office staff tasks were assigned. At the time, it was common for one person to handle only one specific task. The problem was that, despite having a small staff, tasks were not shared. This meant that even when someone needed to be absent due to personal circumstances, they often had no choice but to come to work anyway. Recognizing the urgent need for change, I implemented training so each person could handle 2-3 tasks and restructured the workflow accordingly. This went beyond simple multi-tasking; it enabled 8 people to handle 100 tasks that previously required 10, allowing the remaining staff to focus on improving underperforming areas. This change increased operational flexibility and ultimately led to an overall increase in company revenue.
Thus, I view the word ‘improvement’ not merely as change, but as the value of practice for sustainable and tangible development. I will continue to meticulously examine issues on the ground and within the organization, propose concrete solutions, and strive consistently to move in a better direction.
