Motivation and Passion

“○○ Convenience Store: Now an indispensable space for everyday people”
This morning, I quietly observed ○○ Convenience Store again. Opening its doors early, it takes care of busy college students’ breakfasts. Students rushing to class before lectures always carry a water bottle or a cup of coffee in their hands. Some offer a drink with a small gesture of care to someone they like or a respected teacher, while others quietly get a meal. At lunchtime, it becomes a reliable dining spot that satisfies the hunger pangs of poor, hungry youths. For those lonely without friends to eat with, it offers a brief respite. For high schoolers, it’s a snack spot; for college students, an affordable, filling meal; for busy office workers and adults, a resting place and a spot for small encounters. The place that provides all this at the most reasonable prices, in the closest and most convenient spaces—that’s ○○ Convenience Store.
○○ Convenience Store is now more than just a ‘convenience store’. It exists in every small gap of daily life, a natural and essential space in our lives. And for me, ○○ is that kind of existence. Among countless convenience stores, I particularly frequent and enjoy using ○○. The reason is clear. It’s the only place that satisfies all three: the tastiest rice, the most affordable prices, and the most generous portions. Because ○○ has become deeply ingrained in my daily life, I naturally developed a desire to work within it, which ultimately led me to apply.
I hope ○○ Convenience Store expands to more regions and reaches a wider variety of people. Furthermore, I look forward to its evolution into a space offering even more abundant food and products, provided more affordably and safely. I too wish to be part of that change and contribute.
And if I join the company, I can show you one powerful weapon above all others: ‘Passion born from love’. As they say, “You can’t beat someone who loves what they do.” I love ○○ Company’s food, especially their gimbap, and I value their atmosphere and systems above all else. Doing what I love most in my favorite place will naturally ignite a passion that burns like fire. And that passion won’t just be a feeling; it will translate into responsibility and diligence. I am confident I can give 100%, no, 120% of my capabilities working at ○○ Company.
I sincerely hope for the opportunity to join your company. Thank you.

Growth Process and School Life

“Let’s do more.”
This phrase has been a guiding principle and attitude throughout my life. I have always had many interests and chose a lifestyle of constantly pursuing the things I love. In elementary school, I loved sports so much that I was passionate enough to compete as a track athlete. However, a dramatic injury forced me to confront my physical limits. Accepting I could no longer run as before, I temporarily set athletics aside. Entering middle school, I turned my focus to new challenges and immersed myself in studies I had previously neglected.
Through this process, I gradually discovered what I truly loved: ‘people’ and ‘relationships’. While elementary school was enjoyable for the camaraderie with athletic club seniors, middle and high school brought the immense interest and fulfillment of meeting a wider variety of friends and building relationships with them. Seeing friends facing problems that weren’t just personal struggles but issues that could actually be solved with help within the school system made me want to be the voice for them. It wasn’t about struggling with sports; it was about friends desperately needing the support and welfare the school could provide, friends needing institutional attention. I started taking action myself, proposing solutions to their problems one by one.
Naturally, I ended up taking on the role of student council president. Thanks to my outgoing personality, I got close to the entire student body and listened to every friend’s story. I listened to their worries, coordinated with the school administration, and worked hard to bring about real change. As a result, I was able to provide tangible help to my peers through activities like planting trees where needed and improving welfare systems. For these contributions, I received an award plaque upon graduating middle school, given to students who contributed to the school’s development.
This experience instilled great confidence in me. When I entered high school, wanting to try new hobbies alongside my studies, I founded an orchestra club with friends. Learning to play instruments, synchronizing our breathing, and performing together greatly fostered teamwork and responsibility. We supported each other’s growth through regular weekly practices. After entering university, I served as Vice Student Council President, advocating for students’ rights and working diligently to create a better campus environment.
I’m naturally restless by nature. In any group or organization, I’ve always been at the center, moving most actively, finding fulfillment in representing others’ positions and helping with their needs. I believe this disposition can be a powerful asset in a sales role. My greatest strengths are my passion for people, my keen awareness of their needs, and my drive to solve problems by taking direct action. Moving forward, I will carry the commitment “to accomplish more” in my heart, striving to become a warm and trustworthy person who connects people.

Post-Hire Aspirations

“I will become someone who learns, puts it into practice, and learns again.”
Upon joining the company, I am determined to become someone who “learns, puts it into practice, and learns again.” As a new employee, I recognize there will be much to learn. From reading and analyzing materials essential for my work, to adapting to the company’s systems, discovering new clients, communicating smoothly with them, building trust, and closing deals—every single step will be a continuous learning process. Moreover, this learning won’t stop at visible skills or knowledge; it will be a journey to broadly understand and master the underlying organizational culture, interpersonal relationships, and the needs our customers truly desire.
Therefore, I will approach my work with a constant mindset of learning. I believe the most important qualities for a new employee are a humble heart and a passion for learning. I will always see myself as a learner, listening attentively to the advice of my seniors, gaining practical knowledge through the voices from the field, and never keeping what I learn solely in my head—I will actively put it into practice. Through this cycle of learning, practicing, and learning again, I will build my own engine for growth.
Moreover, the world is rapidly changing, and consumer expectations and market trends are constantly evolving. Therefore, I believe it is crucial not to rest on what I have already learned, but to remain sensitive to new trends and changing environments, maintaining an attitude of continuous learning. Based on this mindset, I will strive to be a team member who is always developing and adapts flexibly to change. I will be someone who is not afraid to learn, diligent in putting knowledge into practice, and never hesitates to master new things.
With this mindset, I will become an indispensable asset to ○○ Convenience Store. Furthermore, I aspire to be a small yet reliable driving force as ○○ Convenience Store expands beyond Korea and into the global market. I sincerely hope my modest beginnings will align with the company’s significant growth and advance together. Thank you.

Strengths and Weaknesses of My Personality and Efforts to Compensate

“Just do it, no questions asked.”
If I had to describe my personality in one word, it would be ‘Do it.’ I constantly command myself. When the thought ‘Should I do it or not?’ arises, rather than hesitating, I tell myself “Just do it!” and immediately take action. For example, if I think ‘Should I go on a trip?’, I decide ‘Let’s go!’ and then focus on ‘How should I go?’ ‘What should I prepare?’ rather than dithering over ‘Should I really go?’ Thanks to this trait, I’ve challenged myself in various contests and achieved good results, gaining diverse experience and titles across multiple fields. It also allowed me to travel to many regions and connect with countless people.
The same applies to my relationships with people. Rather than thinking, ‘What if they’re foreigners?’ or ‘I heard Germans are stiff, will it be okay?’, I approach them with the attitude, ‘Let’s just talk to them!’ In fact, when I approached people that way, I often found they would lower their guard and open up to me too. My experience in Germany was particularly memorable. Initially, approaching strangers felt somewhat daunting, but when I took the initiative to engage proactively, they gradually opened up, leading to deep conversations. These experiences solidified my “just do it” mentality, and I intend to live by this attitude both now and in the future.
However, this personality isn’t always an advantage. Sometimes, my overly hasty nature makes me feel a disconnect with the pace of those around me. Because I’m so full of energy, there have been times when I struggled to understand people who needed to rest or slow down. This impatience is a weakness of my character, and to overcome it, I’ve consciously made an effort to participate in team activities frequently. For instance, even when working part-time jobs, I prioritized tasks done in teams over solo work. By working and conversing with diverse people, I naturally came to understand their tendencies, work styles, and daily rhythms. I also learned firsthand that pushing forward solely at my own pace doesn’t yield good results.
Since then, I’ve consciously prioritized ‘time for conversation,’ making an effort to meet people frequently and communicate thoroughly with them. Through this process, I’m gradually learning to curb my impatience and find harmony with those around me. I intend to continue these efforts, striving to grow into a more flexible and considerate person.
