During my undergraduate studies, I participated as a researcher in an international academic conference on ‘Korean Language Education and Assessment’. In other words, I came to understand that an attitude of understanding and practicing related subfields and adjacent disciplines “broadly and deeply” is paramount.
In my doctoral studies, I aim to scientifically and systematically research the transformations undergone by the ethnic sentiments and symbolic systems embedded within the Korean language. Furthermore, by analyzing and critiquing literary works that embody the spirit and thought of our people, I wish to contribute to the proper establishment of the consciousness world formed by the Korean language and Korean literature.
