Growth Process

During my childhood, my father consistently held important positions like class president or neighborhood association leader. He was universally beloved as an ‘icon of trust.’ His thoughtful consideration, restrained demeanor, and the grace with which he led others were enough to make many see him as a leader capable of guiding the right path for the many. My father always treated my brother and me with genuine respect and strove for authentic education. He particularly emphasized that since humans are beings who live by pooling their strength, the attitude of maintaining trust and faith among them is paramount. He said that a person who loses the trust of the majority inevitably becomes isolated from the group, and that such a severing of relational bonds is akin to being pushed to the edge of a cliff.
Father also taught that we must not weigh or discriminate based on status, age, or position, but respect the opinions of the majority under the recognition that everyone is an equal human being. Perhaps because of this, when Father gathered opinions from many to make a decision, he always fostered an atmosphere of equal discussion. Like an MC, he listened directly to voices from all sides and strove to reflect them in his choices. He said that even if it wasn’t possible to incorporate every single opinion, when people truly felt that their choices and actions influenced the direction of the community, their attachment to the group grew stronger, and they became more active in sharing their opinions.
Watching him as a child, I often reflected on my own tendency to always put my own opinions first, which frequently led to arguments with my brother. Over time, I came to understand more deeply that the attitude of inclusiveness and active listening my father demonstrated was not merely a skill needed for meetings or gatherings, but rather a character trait and conviction essential for people to live together.

School Days

To become a wise and trustworthy adult like my father, I dedicated my entire school life to ambitious efforts. Back then, I was an ordinary child who bickered with my brother, and sometimes my own desires took precedence over caring for others, leading me into trouble. Therefore, I knew self-control was essential to voice opinions for the greater good, and I worked hard to achieve it. But at some point, the realization took root deep within me that I could never become someone like my father if I remained at that ordinary level.
I came to understand that ‘trust’ is the most solid foundation for gaining the support of the majority and achieving what one desires. And I learned that to become a respected and promising figure in society, building that trust must come first above all else. Yet it wasn’t something easily attained simply by wanting it. So I cultivated a calm mindset, reflecting on my own actions and constantly striving to refine my judgment.
Throughout this process, I often recalled my father’s example: always putting others first, stepping back himself, and never rashly pushing ahead. While many think leaders must stand at the forefront commanding from the front, my father instead carefully considered everyone’s circumstances first, ensuring they could advance before him. Only then did he finally turn his attention to his own situation. It was a sacrificial character, one that did not prioritize personal gain, setting aside self-centered desires—a quality difficult for ordinary people to possess.
My father never put himself first, anywhere, inside or outside the home. He always prioritized my brother, me, and our family first, only gradually pursuing his own satisfaction once the majority were close to contentment. This approach earned him ample trust and support from others, and it became a lifelong role model for me. Reflecting on this during my school years, I dreamed of one day becoming someone like my father—a reliable pillar of support for others.

Strengths and Weaknesses

I possess a nature that always puts others before myself, striving to step back and show consideration. While everyone lives within relationships with others, there is an instinctive tendency to prioritize oneself. Therefore, to maintain proper relationships and order within a group, someone is absolutely necessary to draw others’ attention and restore balance. As a human, I too sometimes unconsciously think of myself first. However, whenever this happens, I strictly guard against it and strive to refocus my mind. Through this self-reflection, I’ve come to understand people’s self-centered instincts, and I believe this will benefit my life and relationships in the future.
Just as the saying goes, ‘Fish cannot live in water that is too clear,’ people too must possess a minimum of human qualities and unavoidable instincts to approach others more warmly. This realization freed me from the self-imposed pressure that “to be a helper, one must possess only the morality of a sage.” Once, I agonized over whether I truly had the qualifications to lead people, thinking my capacity and character fell short of my father’s. But now, I am convinced that it is precisely these human qualities that will allow me to grow deeper and broader. That conviction became the driving force propelling me forward and shaped me into who I am today.

Life Philosophy

I firmly believe that the most crucial virtue for a person is undoubtedly human relationships. We often tend to judge the necessities of life solely by monetary value, such as wealth or material possessions. Yet, for a person to truly live life fully, the help of others is absolutely essential. If one has people nearby who open their hearts, share their circumstances, and willingly lend a hand in times of difficulty, that person’s life will never hit rock bottom. This is because the strong bonds formed by firmly grasping each other’s hands and uniting as a collective provide steadfast support.
I have always cherished the value of these ‘connections that money can never replace’. That is why I have diligently cultivated my friendships and strived to broaden the scope of my relationships. I have endeavored not merely to know many people, but to build relationships based on mutual understanding and trust, and to continue learning and growing within them. Moving forward, I will continue to grow as a person who forms healthy relationships in a broader world, grounded in genuine bonds between people and warm-heartedness.

Motivation for Applying and Aspirations After Joining

My father, who always thought ahead and paid careful attention to considerate actions when dealing with people, and who built extensive human connections, was someone who deeply understood how immense and valuable the power of a network formed by people helping each other truly is. Watching him, I learned that we are beings who must live by holding each other’s hands. I naturally came to believe that someone who knows how to warmly hold another’s hand can build trust without losing balance, even within relationships with many people. This lesson became a valuable asset for me, transcending a simple life attitude and transforming into a way to strengthen ‘trust with customers’.
I firmly believe these qualities will be an asset to your company, which values strong customer relationships as an essential virtue. If given the opportunity to work alongside you, I will always lead by example, striving to be a role model for all. I will maintain an attitude of staying alert at all times, responding meticulously to situations, and completing assigned tasks wholeheartedly. I am particularly aware that during the initial adaptation phase to any role, I must not wait for someone to unilaterally assign tasks or teach me. Instead, I must proactively seek opportunities and find solutions myself. Like learning how to hunt, I will approach my work with a proactive attitude of learning and executing, growing alongside your company.
