Personal Growth

“I learned principled action, responsibility, and diligence.”
From a young age, my father always emphasized the importance of principled judgment and the responsibility that follows. Running his business, he overcame numerous crises with unwavering, cool-headed judgment even in difficult situations, steadily growing the company. He taught me that judgment isn’t just innate—it’s the power to accurately assess situations and independently devise appropriate solutions. Observing him, I internalized how crucial a ‘responsible attitude’ and ‘independent thinking’ truly are. To this day, he remains my most respected role model in life.
Meanwhile, my mother ran a bakery, demonstrating through her life the values of consideration, diligence, and self-reliance. Despite our financially comfortable environment, my mother chose to work and earn her own income, seeking to prove her own worth. What particularly impressed me was how her professional life shone brighter with my father’s unwavering support. She demonstrated through her actions that true happiness doesn’t come solely from financial ease, but from the sense of accomplishment achieved through one’s own efforts and sharing that reward with others.
Influenced by my parents, I naturally encountered a life of service from a very young age. My father’s business regularly sponsored three nursing homes and orphanages, so every month without fail, I participated in volunteer activities with my parents. What stands out most in my memory is always seeing my mother take the lead and set an example. Working harder and more humbly than anyone else, she never once flaunted her position as the “president’s wife.” Instead, she took on the most difficult and unpopular tasks. Through her, I learned what true humility means and realized that no matter one’s position, demonstrating sincerity through actions is what truly matters.
I have always been an active person since childhood and am confident in my physical stamina. I have practiced Taekwondo consistently since third grade, training both my body and mind. Through Taekwondo, I learned etiquette and developed a strong mental fortitude. I also learned the lesson that ‘consistency’ is paramount in any endeavor, as even a slight lapse in training quickly shows. This consistency has naturally permeated my studies and daily life, becoming a great strength in my life.
Through my parents’ lives, I learned five crucial values: conviction, responsibility, sincerity, humility, and consistency. These values have shaped who I am today and will serve as the central axis guiding my future life.

Strengths and Weaknesses of Personality

“Thorough time management and self-discipline”
My strengths lie in thorough time management and self-discipline. While time is a resource equally given to everyone, I believe how you utilize it greatly impacts the outcome. I meticulously plan my daily schedule and consistently follow through on that plan. This habit has taught me to value every moment and has become the foundation for building trust as someone who is always punctual and reliable in any organization.
I am often told I am bright and friendly. Thanks to my lively and warm personality, I have always been the one to greet others first and see them off last, both during my school days and throughout my professional life. I believe that even a simple greeting, delivered with sincerity and a bright smile, can brighten someone’s day. Therefore, sharing greetings filled with positive energy has become a natural habit for me wherever I am.
I am also very thorough in self-management. It extends beyond time management; I consistently exercise even amidst a busy schedule to maintain my stamina and health. Furthermore, I dedicate a set amount of time daily to acquiring new skills and information to keep pace with our rapidly changing society. Self-management and self-development are essential virtues for all of us navigating today’s world, and I deeply recognize and practice their importance more than anyone.
These aspects of my character and lifestyle positively influence not only my personal growth but also my relationships with colleagues. Thoroughness, diligence, a positive attitude, and consistent self-improvement are my personal approach to becoming a trusted individual in any environment. I intend to further develop these strengths moving forward.

School Life

“Dreaming of a Korean Wave in International Logistics.”
Whenever I encountered reports about the Korean Wave on television news, I developed an aspiration to contribute to creating a Korean Wave not just in entertainment, but also in the industrial sector. This thought led me to major in International Logistics, and I subsequently dedicated myself to my studies with the goal of becoming a professional in the logistics industry.
At university, I gained a comprehensive understanding of the entire supply chain—from raw material procurement, production, and sales to logistics. I acquired diverse practical knowledge and theories covering transportation, warehousing, loading/unloading, packaging, distribution processing, and logistics/distribution information management. Concurrently, to develop the flexibility to respond to global market changes, I enhanced my computer skills and consistently worked hard to learn English and Chinese. I became convinced that Korea, leveraging its geographical advantage, could leap forward as a Northeast Asian logistics hub amidst rapidly changing logistics and trade environments centered on Northeast Asia, particularly China, which leads the world in both production and consumption. This conviction fueled my dream of becoming a trade professional, aiming to contribute to this process.
Furthermore, I believed that during my university years, building relationships and interacting with fellow students was just as important as academics. Therefore, I actively worked to broaden my network by communicating with diverse people both within and outside my department. In my third year, I served as an officer in the department student council, participating more actively in campus life. As the Academic Affairs Director, I assisted the Student Council President and Vice President in planning and managing key department events such as alumni gatherings, freshman orientation retreats, and academic festivals. This role allowed me to gain practical experience in responsibility and organizational management.
My university life majoring in International Logistics provided a foundation that went beyond mere academic learning, enabling me to grow into a talent equipped with practical capabilities, a human network, and a global vision. Even now, building on these experiences, I continuously challenge myself to take another step forward as a logistics expert possessing both an international perspective and practical field sense.

Career History

“Learning the Value and Weight of a Single Number”
After graduating from university, I joined ○○ Shipping Co., Ltd. as my first job, handling overseas purchasing. Everything was new and unfamiliar, but the process of learning by tackling each task directly was a fresh and enjoyable experience for me. Many things I thought I had learned through school internships were applied in entirely different ways in the real workplace. Experiencing this difference firsthand made me truly appreciate the importance of practical experience.
Overseas purchasing went far beyond simply processing paperwork; it was a highly responsible role where each contract and document represented funds ranging from hundreds of millions to billions of won. Therefore, even when entering a single number, I naturally developed the habit of thoroughly checking and double-checking to ensure I didn’t overlook a single unit. Since a single miswritten number could completely alter the scale or terms of a transaction, I approached my work acutely aware of the ‘weight of a single digit’ more than anyone else. With that mindset of not tolerating even the smallest mistake, I strived to give my absolute best in every moment.
This experience was the most crucial turning point in developing my meticulousness and sense of responsibility in practical work, while simultaneously becoming the driving force for building trust within the organization. Even now, I approach every task with an attitude that refuses to overlook the meaning and weight contained in every single number and sentence. This remains one of the professional ethics I most want to uphold going forward.
