Preparing for the business presented numerous challenges: insufficient capital, lack of experience, and the reality of balancing academics with entrepreneurship as a student. However, through various trials and errors, I developed the necessary competencies for business. Currently, we have begun full-scale consumer-targeted promotional activities and are generating some revenue. Though still a small-scale enterprise, our business model is recognized by peers as a ‘successful startup case’ with both realism and growth potential, which provides significant encouragement.
What I realized through this firsthand entrepreneurial experience is how crucial my undergraduate business courses were—they went beyond mere theoretical study to lay the foundation for starting a business. This experience instilled in me a sense of mission, compelling me to take on greater responsibility and work harder than anyone else. Simultaneously, it made the direction of my life much clearer.

Academic Plan and Goals
To grow into a manager with an international business vision and leadership, I plan to systematically develop my capabilities at your institution. To acquire the ability to predict the future and establish new visions within the rapidly changing global business environment, I intend to persistently pursue academic exploration, cultivating creative leadership based on diverse case studies.
Specifically, I aim to transcend theoretical knowledge alone and integrate practical, industry-applicable know-how to become a manager who proactively responds to change and drives innovation. Through deeply studying advanced management techniques and applying them to real-world practice, I expect to strengthen my practical problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
I hold a particular interest in Ubiquitous Technology Management. According to last year’s announcement by the Ministry of Information and Communication, most of the nine new growth engines driving Korea’s 21st-century economy consist of core technologies essential for realizing a ubiquitous society. This serves as a clear example of how crucial technology-based management will be in the future.
Accordingly, at your institution, I will deeply study both the theory and practice of ubiquitous technology and research technology management that creates customer-centric, human-centered value. Based on this, I aim to develop practical capabilities to create ubiquitous-based business models. Furthermore, my goal is to become an innovative leader who fuses technology and management to provide positive value to society.
Building on the theoretical knowledge and practical experience gained during my academic journey, I will grow into a management professional equipped with the skills and insight to succeed on the global stage. Post-Graduation Plans
I dream of growing into a competitive global business leader. I aspire to develop the ability to accurately interpret global trends with a broad perspective and deep insight, and to build and execute strategies that succeed in the world market. Furthermore, I aim to become a true global leader who understands and respects diverse cultures and communicates freely with people worldwide.
To realize these goals, I plan to conduct in-depth research on ‘The Role of Corporate Organizations and Information Technology in Ubiquitous Environments’ during my doctoral studies. Based on this, I intend not only to write related papers but also to establish a ‘Ubiquitous Research Group’. This group will provide a platform for systematic learning and discussion on the convergence of IT and ubiquitous technologies with others who share similar interests. Through this process, I aim to gain insights into how sustainable corporate strategies can be established within a rapidly changing technological environment.
In the future, after stabilizing the venture company I currently operate within the domestic market, I plan to fully enter the Chinese market. Leveraging my fluent Chinese language skills, my goal is to introduce and disseminate Korea’s creative design products tailored to the local Chinese market. Beyond simple product sales, I wish to share Korea’s design philosophy and creative ideas with Chinese consumers, creating new value.
Moving forward, I will consistently strive to grow into a global talent who understands the connections between technology, management, and culture, and can design sustainable growth strategies through this understanding. I believe the preparation and challenges I undertake at this very moment will solidify my future.
Self-Introduction (Life Philosophy, Values)
I have always strived to live confidently, reminding myself: “The path is not where I go, but where I go is the path.” This phrase embodies my values of living purposefully and unwaveringly, regardless of circumstances. I maintain a strong sense of purpose in my daily life, striving to move forward step by step by giving my best in every situation.
Immediately after completing my military service, I traveled to Beijing, China, for Chinese language training. Taking that first step abroad at the point of re-entering society after discharge was a significant challenge for me. Living and adapting in an unfamiliar environment, facing language barriers and cultural differences, was certainly not easy. However, through this experience, I cultivated patience and perseverance, and learned to maintain confidence in any situation.
Furthermore, this study abroad experience in China allowed me to develop a global perspective suited for the era of globalization. As the demand for Chinese language skills grows worldwide, people of diverse nationalities were coming to Beijing to learn Chinese. Interacting naturally with them exposed me to the cultures and ways of thinking from many countries. Though our nationalities and languages differed, our desire to communicate was the same, allowing us to become close quickly. Engaging in varied conversations broadened the scope of my thinking. This experience brought me great satisfaction and served as an opportunity to broaden my life’s horizons, going beyond simple language training.
I have consistently strived to cultivate an international perspective and a global outlook from an early age.
