“Natural athletic ability and diverse athletic experience”
Since childhood, my robust physique made me a target for recruitment by various sports teams. I played soccer in elementary school and began practicing kendo upon entering middle school. Perhaps due to my innate athletic ability, I found joy in any sport I pursued, as they suited my aptitude. Having no younger siblings, I developed a fondness for children. As I advanced in grade and kendo rank, I worked part-time as an assistant instructor at my kendo academy. Through sports, I learned about human relationships and developed a heart for loving people. From a young age, I believed in training not to overpower or dominate others, but to become someone who protects myself and others. Additionally, my father’s career as a non-commissioned officer meant we moved frequently. This made me comfortable in unfamiliar places and highly adaptable anywhere. I easily befriend new people and have smooth interpersonal relationships.
Growing up, I dreamed of becoming a soldier while looking at my respected father’s uniform. However, I felt the profession’s nature—requiring only specific tasks within limited situations—didn’t suit me, leading me to consider a career in security or bodyguard work. After graduating from a college’s bodyguard program and working in security at Technomart, I became even more certain of my career path. I applied to your company because I wanted to engage in more systematic work.

“I’m like an Energizer Bunny—the busier I get, the more energy I have.”
After graduation, I worked for four years at Technomart, a complex shopping center housing a supermarket, electronics stores, and various bank branches. This meant a diverse crowd of residents came and went. Although management was assigned by floor, the high number of banks required significant attention to detail. Even amidst the busyness, I made an effort to work with my colleagues like friends. Fortunately, we were all around the same age, so we became close quickly, and even potentially tedious tasks became enjoyable. True to the saying, ‘Those who work hard can’t keep up with those who work happily,’ I was promoted faster than anyone else and spent two years as the security team leader in charge of the mall.
Additionally, on weekends, I worked as an instructor at a kendo academy. There, I led an amateur adult class preparing for competitions, training and sweating alongside them as friends. Having people to consistently share my passions with became the driving force energizing my life. People told me juggling two jobs must be exhausting, but it never felt that way. I’m like an Energizer bunny—the more I work, the more energy I get.

“I’m a guy who loves to travel.”
True to my father’s words, “A man should cultivate a broad perspective on the world,” I started backpacking as soon as I entered university. My first backpacking trip was with a longtime friend, and we set off with just 100,000 won. We ran out of money along the way, so we picked peaches at a farm in exchange for dinner, or worked all day doing manual labor for a day’s wage to buy pork belly. As the trip continued, my ability to handle crises grew, and I formed many precious connections with people I met along the way. That’s why, even now, whenever I have a long holiday, I always go traveling, whether alone or with loved ones. Traveling allowed me to reflect on my everyday self and served as an opportunity to redefine values and worldviews I had temporarily forgotten. After graduating from university and starting to earn money, I saved specifically for travel and went on two overseas trips a year. Even though they were overseas trips, I never once stayed comfortably in a hotel. Facing my limits in unfamiliar places was always challenging, but turning that into an opportunity for growth is what makes me unique.
While salary isn’t the most important factor, I would prefer a monthly salary of at least $1,800. I am ready to start whenever you call. Please know that the day after receiving your offer call could be my first day at work. I look forward to working with you.
